I purchased an item on Etsy that ended up being basically crap. The seller refused to answer me until I opened a case. Then he basically told me the only way he would refund me is if I pay $50 shipping! Which is alarmist the price of the item itself! I have many pictures of how the item is used and damaged (Viking axe). I want a full refund and I want this thing out of my life. I need to know what to do next before I report a fraudulent charge on a cc statement. Look below at the scratches and damages and then go look at the sellers item and compare. Not happy.

User's recommendation: Perhaps have the seller send photos of your order before it arrives.

Report Fraud

I ordered something off of their plateform only to find out that the company is not in business any longer after I paid my money. I was told to request a refund but it's impossible to do from their plateform. I tried to reach out through chat to speak with a rep and was told I needed to pay a 1.00 before they would put me through to someone. Fraud all the way!!!!

Poor customer service - Not enough staff to assist sellers

Star rating system supports buyers and not sellers. Received a 1-star rating due to buyer upset that the mailman delivered the package to mailbox rather than front door. The package was delivered to the address given by the seller. No request to leave a door. Dropped my star rating significantly. Offered a full refund to buyer as Etsy wouldn't remove the rating with agreement she would remove. She agreed, but neither of us could remove. Etsy help center said contact Etsy only they can remove. 7 days later, still waiting for Etsy customer service to remove or unlock so buyer can change rating There is no protection for sellers, and customer service offers very little actual support to sellers.

I purchased a part for sewing machine

I received the part I ordered on Friday evening. I immediately contacted the seller to either exchange the part I need or issue a refund. I made a mistake on which part I need. I didnt hear back from the seller until Monday which is to be expected. The sellers suggested return the purchased part and order the correct one. The part is so small, the postage returning the part will be insignificant I was glad I was able to order the part for a 1972 sewing machine.

Maybe the money I’ve been charged after canceling my account back and charges to stop an answer as to why I am seeing on my bank account I am buying my own products and paying you your fee from the profit

I waited for 2hrs no one take a call fcj stupid idiots,never buy from etsy costumer service very low below standards zero starts

No way for a shop to reach any support- email, chat, or phone

I was requested to update my legal information. I filled out the form and was asked to redo it. No indication what was wrong. I filled it out again, and my shop was put on "vacation". I reached out to technical support, and found that there is no way to email, chat, or phone if you are a shop. Only customers. I found a way to correspond, and it stated that my concern would take 1 to 2 day for a response. It is going on 3 weeks and no response to several submissions. the Etsy Trust and safety has from the beginnig sent me a "hang in there" automated response while they look into the situation. Meanwhile no business for these almost 3 weeks. Non exsiting customer support for a shop!

Good morning I have been trying to get hold of someone since Friday. But no joy. Youve apparently sent me an email yet I cannot get into that email anymore which has also been very annoying because whenever I ask for assistance to change it I get no reply. Id like to no your exact reasons for suspending my account.! If I do not get a response I shall be taking this much further
