I will never do business again with Michelle Evans or her Etsy shop MichiCouture. Here's why I'm very disappointed not only were they not bubble wrapped, only in a silky pouch, but the glue was still soaking wet and the pieces were coming off. That's how I received these finished bling cases.The Eiffel Tower was half off, so I took it off and the rest of the pieces on the case peeled off like a sheet of paper. Michelle was nice enough to throw in a compact for me purchasing two cases, although the compact case did not have rhinestones on it as her shop does. The tissue paper was glued onto the flower which I couldn't get off. Michelle admitted to doing them last minute and not letting them fully dry with her big fan. The cases had to have been made the day of the initial email regarding the status of delivery because the glue was still wet and Michelle said she was in a rush making them and getting them out admitting she didn't let the glue dry all the way. I think that is terrible and I'm very upset knowing she won't refund because she says she's in debt. Michelle admits via email to rushing the cases and not letting the glue dry, then why can't you give me a refund, I spent $96.25 only to get a half job done, terrible. I even offered to ship all her pieces everything back. Her last email was very unprofessional. This is what made me change my mind about leaving a negative review. This email is highly unprofessional and what I got out of it was she won't refund because she needs the money. One of the last emails was Michelle swearing at me. How awful for a business owner "MichiCouture's Shop Announcement Policy" "Each phone is custom made and "can possibly take 2-3 weeks to make." My order was not shipped until Feb 17th only because I had reminded Michelle via email asking about the status of my order on Feb 16th..2-3 weeks have exhausted so I wrote a nice email asking about the status of my order I filed a dispute, sent over every single email conversation we had and sent pictures. I was refunded, but not by Michelle. The review was removed making it look like She does a wonderful job. It's probably my fault bc I posted every single conversation we had via email thru links. I'm a person of truth, honesty and integrity and wanted to show that I had nothing to hide I want to prevent this from happening to anyone else buying from Etsy Shop MichiCouture owner Michelle Evans

She no longer seems to have anything available through her Etsy shop (which means all her public reviews are long gone), but DOES have a link to a website she is "building" through which she can sell more of her repugnant "crafts." Obviously she didn't like having public reviews, so she's designing a site she can hide behind. What a deviously contemptible *** I feel sorry for her children. By the way, don't you just LOVE her little avatar?

I am a prior customer of the couture cases merchant you are talking about and they are beautiful. Actually I have purchased 3 cases over time.

I can't say what you did with your case after receiving it or what can be proved or disproved, but you are not a reliable source to follow or BELIEVE.

Placed an order on line on December 11, 2013. Have not yet received shipment. Paid $203.98.

Received an Electronic Shipping Notice on January 6th. Package was never mailed at the Rosemead, CA post office. I just spoke with Postmaster of that PO and he informs me the electronic shipping notice was made but never mailed. Please help me. This was to be a Christmas present for my grandson. I was informed shipping would take 2 weeks. I heard nothing of my order until I got the Shipping Notice want my merchandise right away of it not the merchandise, I want a refund. BUYERS BEWARE OF THE ETSY SHOP MYWOOBYANDME!!!!!!!

MY WOOBY AND ME IS THE WORST ETSY SHOP EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE REPOST THIS I ordered a blanket for my son from My Wooby and Me on Nov 19thbfor $82.06. My payment went through and Nov 20. I have yet to receive the blanket. Need less to say I contacted the shop owner Chris and she was rude and snarky. She refuses to give me a refund and apparently will be Shipping my blanket on Tuesday. Upon reading her reviews from other customers this is not the first time she has done this. She also has a tendency of creating shipping labels but not shipping anything for another two weeks. I just want my money back. I have the conversation recorded via email, and on my Facebook page. My Facebook name is Melanie Figueroa if you would like to view it. I hope this will give her an incentive to not continue to do this to honest and hardworking people.

I also ordered something from this shop last year and had a ton of issues. She used the excuse of her brother dying and that they moved and when I went back to read reviews later I saw she had used the same two excuses on others in previous months.

How many brothers does this person have. I was very polite and told her that we were moving and that she could ship it to our new address in a week or two and she immediately sent it out that night (thought the tracking number didn't show until 10 days later). Needless to say it delivered to the house, but to the person who lives there now. We never ever received it.

I have debated bringing her poor manner of speaking to people and her nasty responses to all these people who are "so rude" to her. I know for a fact that many are probably not.

I also think that the news should do a report on her to escalate the situation. She should not be in business!!!!

I ordered a necklace from an Etsy merchant - whose store is called "ljjewelry", whose email address is listed as ljjewelry@***.cn and to whom a PayPal payment was made to bestfindin@***.com. That was Nov 24 - there was never sent any tracking information and no notices of status. Two days ago, I emailed the merchant requesting a status update and the email bounced. Next I emailed the PayPal email address, forwarding my earlier message to the other address. Next, I emailed Etsy to let them know that I consider this merchant as fraudulent and that I will be issuing a formal complaint on that merchant.

New mother ripped off! Seller delays and requests for extensions meant when product never turned up I had no recourse - etsy shuts down reviews and complaints too soon after purchase.

Etsy does nothing to patrol untrustworthy sellers who dont deliver. I bought handmade baby blankets for my new baby by MyWoobyandMe. Beware Buyers! The seller Chris didn't follow up after payment and then said she was behind on orders when she finally returned my emails. She then'sent' the blankets - but the shipping number was a fake. Because I was polite and waited, I had missed the cut-off to complain. I saw in her feedback similar recent issues but i was shut out of leaving feedback . she told me i could sort out deliver details myself! I left a message with Etsy as i feel its a systemic issue with the seller taking buyers money and not delivering products - but have never had a response from etsy. There is no recourse for the seller who took my money and got away with it! Others will be ripped off too if they are polite and waited like I did, but I can't share it on st etsy forum.

Etsy does nothing to help if you are scammed/stolen from

Etsy has the worst customer service and oddest/worst way of handling issues with ordering items I have ever seen. For those of us using Etsy as "buyers." Etsy offers no help, feedback. will not advocate for you, and they do not even have a customer support PHONE NUMBER that you can contact. I ordered an item from a seller, received the wrong item, and there was actually nothing I could do. Etsy's idiotic response was "work it out with the seller, there is nothing we can do." Well of course the seller didn't want to work it out with me, they already had my money, so it meant nothing to them whether I had reviewed the correct item. And, of course, Etsy doesn't care. I repeat, if you are a buyer, and something goes wrong with your order, Etsy will DO NOTHING. I went so far as to file a BBB case against Etsy, and even that got me nowhere. I then had to file a BBB case agiainst the individual seller, but I am disgusted by how Etsy takes no responsibility hosting these *** sellers. Etsy is only out to protect the seller. Imagine for all the honest people on Etsy, how many dishonest sellers there are, and Etsy will do nothing. I would not buy anything from Etsy again, as there is no protection offered - Ebay is a much, much more responsible and trustworthy online site. I am truly disgusted with their (lack of) customer service.

I too will NEVER do business with Etsy again. Once bitten, twice shy.

Still waiting (going on 8 weeks now) for an item or refund. So far NOTHING and absolutely no help from either Etsy nor PayPal, who supposedly guarantees transactions that are never shipped.

When I filed a complaint with PayPal, after spending nearly an hour detailing all the steps I had taken, all the communication I had made with the seller, etc., I got a form web-page saying that PayPal is unable to offer a resolution.

I sell a multitude of items online and have run into many different types of scams. I found a new website at listingdock.com and the customer service has been great so far, as a buyer and a seller. They are responsive and have a one of a kind affiliate program.

Thischickblingslahryn's toetique steals money!

I found this company on esty and sent her $100 for blinged out kids converse. She spent the next 4 months making excuses about why they hadn't been sent before finally shutting down her site and ignoring me. I saw on later reviews she did this to several other people as well. She is now on facebook and has opened another site called thischickblings.com She is very dishonest and will even outright lie (ie telling me the refund was on its way but would take a few days to show up on PayPal..... Then after a week and several emails saying she sent the refund to the wrong person). It has been 9 months and no refund. BEWARE!!!

I ordered 3 converse shoes from this lady in August ($170.00). First time she shipped she said sent to wrong place.

She said will remake and mail again. She stated she shipped again and they didn't come again. When I confronted her about it I never heard from her again! There are several reviews online of her doing this to others.

She is taking people's money with no product ever delivered.

If this happened to you please let me know as it's easier to go to small claims if several cases presented! Beware she is taking your money!!

Etsy does not care about the customer at all!

Etsy really is terrible with customer service. I had a issue with a shop that wouldn't send me an item I purchased, and Etsy did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for me. I tried reporting the problem dozens of time to the Etsy website, and they responded everytime with some version of "Sorry, we can't help you, work it out with the seller." Well, where is the customer service in that? I was so disgusted with their absolute lack of customer service that I reported them to the BBB. I will never shop form their website again because if something goes wrong with a seller (and there are a lot of shady ones out there) they will do absolutely nothing on your behalf. They are only there to protect the seller and themselves, so as a buyer, BEWARE.

Cant post feedback to warn other buyers

I had a terribLe experience with a seller and want to post feedback tomwarn other buyers but cant because the feedbackmperiod passed. Unfortunately it passed long, long before i got the product so i was never able to review it. I have since read on other sites that Etsy scammers know how this works and use it to their advantage. If you make a purchase and are not happy with it- particulalry if you dont actually get it until eight months after the ship by date - you should be able to provide feedback. I will never shop on Etsy again as a result of this policy because now i know i cant trust the feedback - since a company can easily avoid getting reviews they dont want. The product arrived eig months late and damaged and delivered by UPS though i paid for white glove shipping.

I think there is a conspiracy. Etsy;s employees/staff are able to have stores and be vendors too.

They steals designs, ideas and eliminate any other vendor that can compete with them.

My stores have been suspended due to policies infraction that some others vendors also sell and still are open. It doesnt look that a fair plain field for everybody.

If they see that your store is doing good, they will copy your model/merchandise and kick u out of their site.

Never received my stuff, can't get a refund either!

So I bought from a shop called LuckyGirlBoutique and spent $147.60! I am a student and work hard for my money so to me that is a lot. I completely trusted this woman and never received my items. I ordered back in April and it is now July with nothing to show for it. Sheryl never sent my stuff and never replies to my messages. I just cannot believe I was scammed. I've never had a problem like this on Etsy before but this seller, she obviously doesn't care about people. I know I'm not the only one she does this to because there have been other complaints with the same problems. The worst part is, she marked it as shipped and told me she'd be shipping within a week back in May then after a week I contacted her and she didn't reply til a few weeks later and said the package was damaged and "luckily her name was still legible so they saved it for her" and she'd be sending out a new package within a week. Nothing ever came and I kept messaging her and continue to contact her and nothing. Now I can't even open up a dispute cause I paid through PayPal and they only give you 45 days from the day you bought it and at the time I still believed she'd send it. I'm so disappointed. Here I am thinking I'm making smart choices buying all natural stuff from what I thought was an honest woman from all the great feedback, but no she is not. I can't believe I wasted all that money. Do NOT buy from LuckyGirlBoutique.

Just dispute the charge with your credit card company. They will refund your money and go after the company.

You will not be responsible to pay disputed charge while they look into. Hope it helps.

Never received custom order- etsy will not help

I placed a custom order with a shop called lolasitas. There was never an estimated time of delivery set since the shop owner had to make the item. I purchased it on January 13th. Had not received in February so I contacted the owner saying it was the next order she was going to do. March came I kept contacting her and she kept saying it would come. She said it shipped on March 22nd, but I didn't see it was marked until April. I tried to file a complaint with etsy but they are stating they can not help since it was too long past the original purchase date. I have a record of all of our conversations stating that she was getting to the order and now the shop is closed and the owner will not respond. I am out $100 and the owner gets to keep my money or steal might be the better word with no help from etsy.

Shady seller!

I ordered a men's infinity scarf from the seller's etsy store. In person, the white threads woven through the gray scarf looked sparkly. Sparkly in a men's scarf is not a good look. I told the seller, Yvette, my issue with the scarf and she said I could send it back. Unfortunately, it was all I had to give a friend for Christmas, so I had to go through with the gifting. He said the sparkliness wasn't that noticeable and wore it that day. But the next time he wore it in the fluorescent lights of the NYC subway, he saw the scarf in all its sparkly glory. I sent it back and told Yvette to keep her eye out for it in the mail. Two weeks go by without a peep from Yvette, so I message her on etsy asking if she recieved the package. She says, yes, she has, but that I am in violation of her shop policies (returned after 10 days without tags) and she cannot refund me. I reply "Fair enough, what do you suggest we do?" I fully expected the only rational response there is: "I'll have to send the scarf back to you." (And maybe she'd charge me to ship it.) What I got was silence. For months. I reminded her that, alas, she can't keep the item AND the money paid for it. Silence. I threated her with a BBB complaint. Silence. I had my sister message her and ask her what in the world her problem is. Silence. When the BBB finally got in touch with her, she agreed to send the scarf back if I paypal-ed her $5 for shipping. I contacted her on etsy to confirm that she'll hold up her end of the bargain. And what do you know? Silence. The only time she wasn't silent was when she reviewed me on etsy (the nerve!). She called me an *** clown for my many polite entreaties that she do the right thing. Yvette is a shady seller. Stay away!

No refund, no item, no compensation for my time

I am getting the runaround from a shop called NouveauRetro. I purchased a hat from them on March 18, 2013 and they shipped it to the wrong person and shipped me that person's item. They asked me to forward the item I got to the other person, which I did costing me time and $15.25 in shipping. They said the other person would forward my item, which never happened. They never shipped my item, never provided me with tracking info and are giving me the runaround about my refund with Paypal. Initially they agreed to compensate me for my time standing in line at the post office in addition to my refund but are now saying they don't want to.

Why is this lying, stealing company allowed to remain in business? They shut down shops, ignore messages, keep your hard earned money, and yet...

they are still a multimillion dollar company. When will someone take this serious.

They are running a dictatorship and stealing. It’s so blatantly obvious and they are many complaints, yet nothing is being done.
