Etsy review in Dickens, Texas: Never got what I ordered

Ordered 2 stuffed animals that were to have grandchildren names and other info embroidered on them in October of last year thinking I would have them by Christmas and here it is April of 2015 and I have never gotten them. My credit card was charged for them a week after order was placed. Never again will I go through this site. The name of the site was my wooby and me and the ladies name was Chris. Have sent numerous emails thru etsy and always get the same canned reply. At this point would like to know how to send Chris a email or call her. Just want my money back.

Unfortunately I don't think there's anything you can do now.

You have a certain number of days to open a case for item not received. I think you long surpassed that deadline.

Why did you wait 4 months after Christmas to do something about this?

I ordered from 3 places for my son's 2nd birthday party and 2 of the 3 did not make good on the deal. Sadly enough, they take your money up front and reply rapidly regarding messages about ordering, however, once they get your money, they stop replying and don't send merchandise. I will never order from the site again. Sad people have to ruin it for other honest businesses.

This seller is disgusting! She gives no information about tracking parcels and has stolen my £60!! The items i paid for have gone lost and she does nothing to help find the items. Ordered back in January and should have delivered by now seeing as other items were purchased after this order which delivered in correct time frames!! I doubt she even sent the items out!!! I orderd lingerie from Bettyjeann Castillo got to see a picture of the item, but nothing like what I saw in the picture. Poor quality and nothing like what I saw ,only thing that was the same was the color. I paid $60.00 for this item .Also when I opened the package material that was cut for the item fell out. Not very detailed or professional this X EBAY seller has given me a very bad taste for this new internet seller seemed so promising what a let down. I say buyer beware!!!!!

Etsy review in Middletown, New York: Suspended store without reason

My store on Etsy was suspended, with no explanation. No email was sent, and getting a reply to emails to support? Seemingly impossible. I was selling greeting cards and prints. All designed by myself, all printed at home by myself. So what exactly is suspension worthy, I really don't know. And it seems they don't want me to know! Phone support apparently exists, but no matter what issue you put in the support drop down lists - it never comes up with the option to speak to someone by phone. Just to email! I'm going round in never ending circles. I had no idea Etsy where such a badly thought of company till this happened, and searched for solutions and came about all the bad reviews of the way they run their company.

This happened to me as well, and I sell greeting cards and prints too. No explanation, no notification, and I had hired someone to put all of the cards etc up in the site, so that money was lost as well.

This is unconscionable to do to small businesses!

No protection against fraud. I bought a necklace for one of my bridesmaids from "Sharies." The necklace came broken, and when I returned it she was rude bordering on cruel and she: 1) denied it was broken 2) Told me that it was my fault if the necklace was broken because she posted an image of it 3) Told me that I did not know how the clasp worked and that's why I thought it was broken 4) Told me if it was broken, the mistake happened in shipping 5) Told me there was no possibility of returns and I should have thought of that before I bought a necklace from her 6) Told me I had no recourse for reporting internet fraud because she clearly states on her Etsy page that she accepts NO RETURNS I can see why

Etsy support sucks

I am a seller on Etsy and have been trying to get help from their support for many years and every time the story repeats - no help, no prompt responses, just ignorance in many forms, which seems to be the best that the Etsy support can do. Regardless of what you ask - no help or no response which is the same result, you just waste your time. I wonder why they take fees and say that they need them to provide you with support, but it does not exist, so they lie! Ebay is not the best place when it comes to support but Etsy beats it easily.

I have ordered items on Etzy and have been pleased with the sellers and the products. Etsy itself is a huge problem.

There is no way to contact then by phone or on their site for help with problem. I will not order from this site again because of their lack of interest with a buyers needs.

When following their promts, you just keep going in the same circles, over and over again. I am reporting them to the appropriate agency.

Etsy review: Back to square one

Reported problem with a gemstone necklace to seller and etsy, some of stones not as described and some fake - the ad was removed for about a week and is now back on there! Have put on a more defined review and reported company back to Etsy...breach of trades descriptions act/ sale of goods act should be listed in their guidelines - I did point out to them that if they don't make an effort to control this they could be seen as encouraging/facilitating fraud. As beads are sold to people for holistic reasons I worry that vulnerable people could be exploited too.

Etsy review: Privilages suspended

I went to order a ring for my granddaughter. Could not get into etsy, they told me my privilages were suspended. I am confused and now mad. Wrote several times, no reply. Have bought several things on etsy so I don't know why I can't order now. I am not a seller, have no shop, I am just a customer who wanted to buy something. There is no way to contact them. I am so confused and this makes me feel like a criminal or something. I kept trying to get a reply, I give up, as I no longer want to shop at a site that has no customer feedback or respect.
