Fraudulent "seller" would rate negative if I could
- - Item never shipped for a Christmas gift.
- - Seller page deactivated; contact attempts failed.
- - Out $35 with no recipient explanation.
Ordered item for Christmas gift, item never shipped. Gave consideration due to holiday season, attempted to reach seller only to find their page deactivated.
Managed to find an email link to contact only to be told the mailbox is an unmonitored box. Only options are some irrelevant help links and an AI live chat that is completely useless. Now out of 35.00 and no formal explanation to my recipient for their missing gift.
Etsy's nonchalant approach to business and lack of accessibility will be the end of their operations. Never again!

Connecting my etsy shop to bank account

- - Transfers to Desjardins Canada show recurring errors; Tangerine and PayPal links unavailable.

My last verification issue has been resolved, and Etsy accepted my bank account number. Thank you again.
But now, when I try to transfer the money I earn from my Etsy shop to my Canadian Desjardins bank account, I get error messages saying they can't...
The problems are recurring.
I'd like to know if they've missed another data correction or some other connection error? I'd also like to know if they have other customers who also have Etsy shops connected to their Desjardins bank accounts? I'm also trying to connect via PayPal, but I can't find any connection links despite watching classic YouTube tutorials and seeing how to connect on their Etsy website...
I'm trying Tangerine.
I don't know what else to do to resolve this issue. Etsy is having a problem somewhere, and it's discouraging me from continuing my small business if I can't even earn enough to put food on the table.

- - Wrong items sent: couch legs.
- - They refuse a refund and want us to wait.
- - We bought new legs; they won’t cover return shipping to the UK.
The seller sent us the wrong items (couch legs). He refuses to issue a refund and wants us to wait.
We cannot wait because we need to use our couch and had to purchase new legs. He wants us to return the wrong couch legs back to him and refuses to pay for shipping to the UK.

Be cautious of the pictures they have on Etsy. They won't refund.
Bought a dress with beautiful vibrant colors. The dress arrived dull, dark, and made of horrible material.
They refused to give me a refund. I sent pictures to Etsy, which are saying they can't tell the difference. Frustrating.
Don't ever buy from this company; don't buy. They won't respond to your pleas.

Insensitive uncaring email from Etsy.

- - They’re responsive elsewhere.
- - I’ll let it go and ignore sellers who rip buyers off; buyers should do homework.
No response from Etsy, although in other categories they have been very good at responding. I have decided to let it go because I am up against a big company so instead, I will do my best to ignore the sellers who are determined to rip buyers off. Yet, buyers these days should be savvy enough to do their homework.
User's recommendation: Cross-check the pricing on Etsy purchases with Temu, AliExpress, etc before wasting your money. There are also quite a number of Canadian website that have sprung up recently who are doing the same ripoff scheme. You can spend $12 on the beautiful skirt, or $69 "on sale" (I myself almost got sucked in on this one until I checked Temu) for the identical item on other websites, not just Etsy. Be careful. Makes selling very hard for the many honest sellers of which there are many on Etsy.

Etsy put deceptive feature on website
Watch those shipping charges. Etsy sure doesn’t handle them transparently or honestly.
I stupidly believed that and went ahead and just purchased an item directly from the posting page. To my surprise, $30 was added to my total for shipping.
I contacted their customer service through chat and basically got a list of restrictions to that feature. None of those restrictions were listed when I selected shipping to be shown on the listed prices. The agent basically said, Yes, it is confusing, Ill pass on your feedback.
What crap.
Nowadays, everyone is including shipping costs in their listed prices to be more transparent, but Ive never seen restrictions not listed.
Its bad business and it shows a lack of integrity. Im not surprised, but I am pissed.

I would like my refund , and hold those business accountable for their false advertisement.. I am tired of companies ripping people off that has to earn their money..
and when they are wrong like this business is the person of the company will not do a refund..
i will no longer be doing business with etsy anymore . And I have been a customer for like a decade now..

Terrible.I purchased something I needed. a photo of for them to create a puzzle photo.
however, after I made the purchase, there was no place for me to upload a photo to. Very disappointing.
I hope I did this right if this doesnt go through I want my order canceled because this is ridiculous. I cant upload a photo which Im perfectly cap Youre just making it more difficult if this does not go through I want my order canceled immediately and I want my funds returned to my bank account
