Etsy dropped has the ball with their customer service across the board.They had wrong information entered under a sellers account, pushed me to the brink of a verbal [and colorfully worded :)] meltdown and then realized their error - fixed it - refused to apologize...

on top of this, the seller [Rani's Custom Creations] offered to refund my money and then refused to refund my money. The product that was received was such poor quality that it had to just be thrown out. This company lacks any empathy, any true customer service and is just a poor choice to do business with. If you want to support the small producers selling their products through a website like Etsy, reach out to the seller directly and ask if they have an alternative avenue for you to buy.

I have had some really positive experience with Etsy over the years but their lack of acknowledging their error this time, along with their horrid customer service and lack of apology has ended that relationship.Yes, I understand that my one complaint will not break Etsy but I hope that they will eventually have enough complaints from customers globally that they make some changes.
