Do not trust Etsy

I purchased an item as a Mother's Day gift - it was never received. I tried to work with the seller, the postal service and Etsy to find the item or to refund or re-send it. Nothing was done. The item was never found, and frankly, may never have been shipped as the postal service had no record of it. I was astonished at the lack of support, or consideration from this seller and from Etsy. I purchased a second item, also a Mother's Day gift, which was also 'lost' by a different seller. This seller eventually refunded my purchase, claiming the item had been sent back to her. My third purchase was also unpleasant, I was sent an article of clothing that was poorly constructed and when I tried to send it back, the seller refused to accept the return. After much discussion with a very rude seller, she too eventually refunded my purchase. In three purchases, I have had 3 terrible experiences. I will not make the mistake again. I hope this review will help others to avoid a similar fate.

Back in June on the 21st I ordered a soy fragrance candle.

It is now July 7th and it is showing simply not shipped...

I have sent message after message to the seller without even an acknowledgement. I cannot find out what the issue might be.

There is ZERO customer protection by Etsy.

I may have lost money on this purchase but I know BETTER than evervto order through there again...I will stick to Amazon, where they arecreputable and make it right. SMH

I will even attach the official message from Etsy. "I am so sorry... I meant to message you... I have put that thing through the kiln 7 times. For some reason the glaze on its ear keeps coming off. I don't know why.... I have started another one - actually got it out...

Etsy.com is usually a cute cool place to find stuff. BUT DO NOT purchase anything from Android Sheep. I ordered the SPN pendant a month ago, paid $24.00, STILL has not arrived, have e mailed them Numerous times...their automated reply? "Taking a short break right now..cheers" my interpretation? They took the $ and ran! I have no necklace, no refund. No response....BE WARE

That's really an ungrateful to complain about. It's called great customer service and many sellers do nice things for customers.

I'm sure you're just a miserable person who doesn't appreciate someone doing something nice for them. This is the most ridiculous thing to complain about. A simple thank you to the seller would have been the nice thing to do.

I hope the seller didn't have to deal with you crying like a baby over a nice gesture.

No product, terrible costomer service from shop seller and Etsy. Want my well deserved refund.

I am no longer interested in trying to find another resolution other than a refund. I spent a week attempting to contact the shop owner with no reply, finally got a hold of him to have him say he didn't have it in stock and in order to receive a refund I had to go through Etsy. I had ordered the canvas print for my sister's birthday which is on the 11th. There is no possible way that even at this point if he had the product he would be able to get it to me in time unless he paid for overnight weekend shipping. I ordered it from another company already and they assured me it will get here by the time I need it. All I want is my money back so I can end this ridiculous situation. I have never received such poor customer service in my life and am most definitely not interested in trying to continue to give my business to the shop, it's owner or now Etsy.
