I ordered candy apples from Etsy Seller DivineSweetsOnTheGo and was sent a box load of bad apples.The apples themselves were not packed to sustain the rigors of shipping.

In addition to that, the apples that were sent looked absolutely nothing like what was depicted on the Sellers site. The apples were supposed to have a high gloss shine. What I got were a bunch of chalky-like candy coating on a bunch of old apples that were also destroyed during shipping! Etsy asked me to send them a load of pics and copies of the listing, which they should have in their system.

I complied. I sent at least 20 pics of the box and the apples from varying angles. The images were crystal clear. You could see that the seller misrepresented what the apples would look like, and that they were packaged poorly to boot!

Etsy did nothing to resolve the issue, choosing instead to focus one aspect of the problem and the entire blame on the postal service which the Seller chose! They completely ignored the fact the esthetic of the apples which was the crux of the issue, secondary to that, the Seller bears the responsibility for properly preparing her goods for shipping so that said goods arrives to the buyer fully in pristine condition!

I am disgruntled to the point of closing out my account from Etsy because they don't give a good *** about the buyers!Bottom line stay away from Etsy!

Preferred solution: Full refund.

Thanks so much. I'll never, ever purchase food products from Etsy again! Worst still is the bogus response I got from the "Conflict Resolution" department at Etsy!
