Very Unsatisfied Customer | Etsy review from Mount Laurel, New Jersey

I ordered an item thru TrueVineBoutique. I was told the ship date would be December 13, 2018. I wanted this for a Christmas Present. I am getting the run around when this item will be delivered. I am trying to cancel since it was never shipped. Was told they are having problems getting the correct size shirts to make the item ordered. Then the next time they said is within 2 days. Now it is still not shipped. They are now saying they are trying to get tracking numbers straight. The item was never delivered. It says not shipped. I am getting a run around. No help

This is not a complaint about Etsy, but an Etsy site Galleria Prim showcases duvets as if they are "exclusive stylis stunning stylish and unique, the pixs look beautiful. What i got was throwaway bin poly obnoxious fabric stitched poorly to additional cheap poly fabric. I returned item only to have it pointed out that Galleria Primativa has a no returns, no exchange, no refundc policy on special orders; but I didn't special order, I ordered right off their website selecting a Kuba pattern in a twin size, no different than if i had walked into a brick and mortar and bought it off the shelf. This is dishonest retailer, I did read the hypercritical remarks of one review, I should have heeded, instead I ignored it to the tune of a$135.00 plus the return shipping loss. After not hearing from Galleria (almost a month in) about my return I'm told in addition to their policy, oops-it's been almost thirty days so the best Galleria can do is see if they can find that rag of a duvet and I guess send it back . Keep it! Nothing is worth the snatch and grab experience of dealing with this disreputable online dealer. My single question is what will Etsy do while linked with such a business partner.

Lousy quality and not talent 'artist' | Etsy review from Pleasantville, New Jersey

BEWARE..not all the Etsy participating crafters are professional and/or talented. They are able to post anything they wish to their site and grab images of items from the web that they have NOT crafted themselves and represent them as what you can expect to be shipped to you, It is very inexpensive to promote your wares on this site and it shows. I ordered an expensive 'hand painted' sign and it arrived not even remotely as it was represented AND it took almost a month to arrive. The 'crafter' stated that her kid got sick and she got too busy. It also arrived in a paper-thin plastic sleeve via USPS with NO bubble wrap or padding of any kind with holes in the plastic big enough to put my finger through and was damaged at arrival. $70 and never again Etsy.

Ordered some hand-made shower favors 5 weeks before a baby shower. Even checked up mid-way and offered to pay for expedited shipping which they said was not necessary. The week of the shower all I got was excuses: out of town, a funeral.... somehow the tracking # from USPS didn't work. Next thing I know she is claiming it came back to her and it was a bad address. I confirmed and it was not. Had to scramble last minute for favors. Some people just should not be in business and Etsy should vet there vendors more carefully. Last time I shop there.

That's really an ungrateful to complain about. It's called great customer service and many sellers do nice things for customers.

I'm sure you're just a miserable person who doesn't appreciate someone doing something nice for them. This is the most ridiculous thing to complain about. A simple thank you to the seller would have been the nice thing to do.

I hope the seller didn't have to deal with you crying like a baby over a nice gesture.

I was interested in an item but had a question for the seller. The site did not allow my email to the seller to be sent, said "check your email for a message from Etsy." There was one email which I opened, went back to the site, got the same message "check your email for a message from Etsy." There were no more messages, I tried to email Etsy, was sent around in circles and was not allowed to send them an email. I shop online routinely and never had such a bad experience. My ebay feedback is 100% positive. Etsy lost my business.
