As a seller Etsy can be a nightmare too as they always seem to be on the buyers' side. Why can't they understand that if someone's buying an item for £4.95 that they are not going to spend twice as much again for tracked/signing to the US for instance?

It's not rocket science to adapt the checkout software to ping a window up before payment asking them to click a box stating they are happy to NOT pay for tracked/signed and therefore neither the seller or Etsy is responsible for lost items? That way Etsy will actually make more money on commission as there will be more sales and their reputation, as well as mine/ours, will be protected too.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.
