I ordered a necklace and some of the stones were fake or not as described. Contacted the seller who was understandably upset - about the situation and at me I guess.

E-mailed Etsy several times and within 3 days they emailed back. We had several conversations, I told them they had a duty to try to prevent fraud via their company. I put on what I thought was a fair review for the goods and implied my experience and note now that the goods and review have been removed, so that is something. If the main stone turns out to be fake I will look into refund via credit card company, it can take up to 2 months apparently.

I hope the seller checks her remaining stock thoroughly as it isn't difficult.

We all make mistakes but have a duty to trade in a fair and honest way. I guess it's a learning experience.

Reason of review: Bad quality.
